RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan)
An account for a child's post-secondary education. The CESG grant adds 20% on the first $2,500 contributed yearly (up to $7,200 per child); growth is taxed in the student's hands on withdrawal, typically at little or no tax. Lifetime contribution limit: $50,000 per child.
