ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund)
A fund whose shares trade on a stock exchange like a stock. One share buys a slice of everything inside — often thousands of stocks or bonds — with annual fees (MER) typically 0.05–0.25% for index versions. The standard building block of Canadian beginner portfolios.
